Round 4 - Spaced Pinks - This should panic the opponent into using his battle energy, since you can do so little about them on round 4. Most people take the newly unlocked bloons for granted, so here's some of the best ones. These are the things you will need to rely on for your opponent to lose all of his lives. You should keep on going from reds to blues and so on until pink bloons, which are the most effective for increasing economy. You know, the 8 red ones you unlock on round 2. Why, you may ask? Because of grouped bloons. Most new players immediately think "Blue bloons are stronger than red bloons, therefore it'll have a greater chance of making my opponent losing lives." which is technically true, but it harms your economy. A thing called economy, which you need to rely on until you have unlocked the Banana Farm which is optional. This is, so far, the only way you can get money. Place 1 to 3 Ninja Monkeys or so near the bomb tower and the Sniper Monkey pretty far away, whilst set to strong. Place a 2-0 Bomb Tower near the middle of the map where it can shoot at both near the start of the map and exit. So, for example, let's say the map you're on is "mine". This is also one of the most important parts to winning your games. The Dart Monkey is more cost-effective than the Ninja Monkey in most early game situations and the Banana Farm will completely change how you play the game, if you choose to not go eco. If you have the chance to, unlock tier 3 Dart Monkey and tier 2 Banana Farm upgrades as soon as possible. Be sure to set it's targeting to strong, and have it 1-2 or 0-2. Sniper Monkey is the only tower which can pop camo lead bloons, a new player's worst nightmare. You shouldn't rely on him too much though. Ninja Monkey excels at being a good, affordable all-round class.

When you queue up for your first match, the only 3 towers you should pick are the Bomb Tower, Ninja Monkey and Sniper Monkey.īomb Tower is specialized in popping clusters of bloons, easily making 2-0 the best upgrade path for value, it can pop black bloons too unlike the other upgrades. This is easily one of the hardest things in BTD Battles, to make a viable loadout. Card battles and defense aren't recommended, since not even Ninja Kiwi wants to keep those two alive.
